CONVEGNO NAZIONALE AIOM – Roma, 15 dicembre 2023

20 miliardi di euro l’anno: i costi per il cancro in Italia – Prevenzione attiva, la vera arma vincente

The test execution and the data analysis will be performed by the collaboration between the Biotechnology and Biosciences department of the University of Bicocca in Milan, under the supervision of Prof. Francesca Granucci and Prof. Elena Sacco (specialists in the analysis of mitochondrial toxicity in tumor cells). The R&D department of BIOSCIENCE GENOMICS will develop the test focused on the analysis of mitochondrial toxicity as a cancer driver condition. The analysis of cellular mitochondrial and glycolytic bioenergetics (basal, maximal, and spare respiratory and glycolytic capacity; respiration and glycolysis devoted to ATP production, proton leak, non-mitochondrial respiration, non-glycolytic acidification, endogenous fatty acid beta-oxidation, ATP index, energy phenotype) will detect those metabolic dysfunctions relevant to the interception of the colon cancer driver in healthy and non-symptomatic patients.
